Thronefall

Thronefall is a gorgeous indie game with a simple, yet addictive, tower defense gameplay loop. You control a commander unit who traverses the map in an isometric perspective, upgrading towers which automatically fire at waves of enemies. The main campaign provides a solid challenge, and feels like a puzzle at times with respect to which towers should be upgraded. The soundtrack is fun and fitting of the artwork and atmosphere. Thronefall kept me entertained from start to finish and provides a unique take on a classic genre.
