Mario vs. Donkey Kong is effectively an HD remake of the original Mario vs. Donkey Kong game that released on the GBA in 2004. As such, the game is quite short and mechanically simple. That being considered, Mario vs. Donkey Kong is an excellent example of an HD remake done right. The polished visuals and controls shine a bright new light on the antique original, and the new challenges and modes help to pad out the length a bit. As a bonus, it features a vibrant and fun soundtrack!
